Track Sessions

QLD Raceway

Generally there will be 10 cars per set on the track, with 4 sets of cars per 1/2 day (approx only 40 cars). This makes for a lot of room on the track for each driver to have the best chance to set their perfect lap time.

Under normal conditions you can expect to get 5 sessions on the track for a half day.

Lakeside

Generally there will be 10 cars per set on the track, with 4 sets of cars per 1/2 day (approx only 40 cars)

Under normal conditions you can expect to get 4 sessions on the track for a half day.

Electronic Timing

Track Day uses the transponder based electronic timing system.

At the end of each session a printout of the lap times will be available.

To get timing you will need a West Holder Timing transmitter. You can rent it on the day for $20 or buy for $95 from the race track office before the event. A Lapceievr which provides instant in car lap times can also be Purchased for an extra $85 which works with the Westhold system.
