Would anyone have believed that the last two track days would be rainy given we are in a drought. The guys who took one of the new membership options (see member button top right) were able to postpone with only loss of their deposit. If you are a regular participant the Platinum option works out well with the discounted track days over the course of a year.

I want to welcome the guys from the www.ls1.com.au forum, a few members have come to the last few track days and more are expected at future events. Its great to have such a diverse mix of cars at every event.

RWD Shootout: The shoot out has been postponed to a future date as not enough members have expressed interest. I am planning on merging the AWD and RWD shootout into a single full day event to make it more exciting and viable. I will put info up soon.

Head to Head: Thanks to everyone who provided feedback on the preliminary head to head battle concept for Dec 13. I am revising the format and will have a second email out soon.

Top 5 Time Attack: At the Oct 5 track day we will be trialing a new shoot out event. After the morning passenger ride session the top 5 AWD and top 5 2WD cars will be invited to have a single lap shoot out. This should be an exciting spectacle for competitors and spectators alike.

Time Attack Series, 2008: Next year we will launch a points based time attack series. A class structure will be developed over the coming weeks and certain track days will be nominated for point rounds. At the end of the year we will have a trophy presentation celebrating the winners and place getters of each class. In addition, at each event the top 5 AWD and top 5 2WD cars will shoot out for points to become the Outright Fastest Time Attack Champion of 2008.
