I have removed the Top 5 Shoot Out from the schedule on Nov 27.
Feedback from the survey said it was not popular during a normal track day.

Great Day.....again... |
|
Paul,
thanks again for a great day. As above the new track timing
was great, quick results, and no problem with leaving that device
stuck on the windscreen for future use.
Some very close times, and I seem to be finally getting
some consistency with my times falling within a few tenths,
rather than a few seconds....
Can't wait for the next event....
Cheers,
Garry

Yeh I couldn't agree more. Fantastic day and very well organised. Catcha in December.
Hey I still have enough street tyre tread left for next time (drift or no drift LOL) - brakes are a tad squishy from tryin to pul that 2 tone Calais-V monster up though.
One thing about VEs they tellya when they are tired and had enough - as happened on my last go at the national circuit (complete shutdown on the main staraight, but only til it coolled down a bit, then fired up like normal). All good!!!
A big thank you to the guy in the Dark Blue WRX for pulling up and making sure I was OK. A Lovely gesture I thought.
Over time I will get to remember people's names
Pete

Was a great morning. Completely killed the tyres but good news is the diff wasnt as bad as we first thought. Instead of opening it up and finding minced metal we found a dry bearing in the driveshafts that decided to make a sound like a set of spanners in a sump. $40 later and its all fixed
(when it cooled down it was quiet again anyway which was weird)

Pete John Tetley,s story of the guy who rolls into gravel at turn one, recovery finds him unconscious,
he,d forgotten to breathe.Decent times for a large car.
