First off i really have to thank Mick, Megan and pete from SIGNATURE PERFORMANCE for all the help and advice throughout the build.
micks always willing to lend advice and support with the set up of the car, Be it at the track or over the phone.
http://www.signatureperformance.com.au/

Well heres my project S13 so far

ENGINE: RB25DET S1

* T3/T4 turbo (specs not shore)
* High mount manifold
* 40mm pro boost waste gate + screamer
* Greddy Plenum
* 80mm Throttle Body
* High Flow Fuel Rail
* 650cc Rochester Injectors
* Sard Fuel Reg
* Haltech Coil Packs
* Custom Leads
* haltech ultimate +boost controller
* Remote oil Filter
* duel oil Coolers

SUSPENION AND BRAKES:

* Tein HA coilovers (8Kg/mm FRONT, 6Kg/mm REAR)
* Whiteline swaybars (27mm FRONT, 20mm REAR)
* Just Jap camber arms
* solid rear cradle bushes
* R33 GTS-t front 4pot calipers 287mmx30mm(Slotted)
* R33 GTS-t rear 2pot calipers 290mmx20mm
* strut braces front and rear

OTHER POINTS OF INTEREST:

* custom alloy dash
* custom Alloy pedels
* upgraded alloy 55MM radiator
* alloy radiator over flow bottle
* upgraded tranny cooler
* FMIC
* Hybrid duel stage boost controller
* Bosh 040
* full 3" turboback zurst
* oil catch can
* Hydralic handbrake with custom lines
* new fixed back bucket seat and harness
* new 9.5in Drift tek rims wrapped in 255x40xR17 bridstone rubber (soon to be toyo R888 semi's)
* 50mm WIDE BODY VERTEX BODYKIT

well so far i've only had time too...

*strip out sound deadening
*strip out all the wiring looms (all 20kg of them)
*remove the dash and all items behide it.
*remove passenger seat
*remove headlights
*Install New dash

so all in all the cars lost about 120kg in weight around the front wheels making up for the heavy RB25 between the strut towers

heres some pics (NOTE sound deadening is still in car when these pics where taken)

feel free to leav comments...

hey thanks for that.
just fixed it up. my times so far is 1:02.87 on sprint and a 1:06.60 on clubman.

that was before any new work was done on the car eg dash, new engine work and striped out.

theres alot more to be done before the car see's the track again, but when it does hit the track i'll be aiming for sub 58sec to claim fastest outright s13/180sx at timeattack

Sounds great mate, i suspect though you'll go faster than 58 on the sprint track with the weight reduction and new power output. Has she been on the dyno?
The widebody will certainly help overall, although depending on what you've done with the steering will also increase the scrub radius, but i'm sure that'll be a tradeoff you'll be happy to have.
I'll be interested to see it on track, when do you think it'll have it first outing?

That's a great goal to have, it's similar to mine, although mine is to have the fastest RWD road registered semi slick shod car around the sprint track!

As for steering work the wheel arches have has some work does to them to avoid scrubing from both "lock to lock" and from hitting the top of the wheel arche, im still thinking about tubbing the wheel arches but at this stage there hasnt been a great problem.

as for the cars first outing.. im not really shore it will be a private track day where i can just go out and do a shakedown test and see how all the new parts perform,As the car hasnt seen the track in over 8mounths..

last time the car was on the dyno is only made 300Hp ATW... but close to stock motor

although im not chansing big power, more lap after lap reliability is the key

mick out at signature performance will be building a new motor while we set the car up at a much lower power output, once steering is sorted then we can drop in the new motor for next year
