Since 1988, Project-Mu have been producing high-end braking solutions for a large range of applications around the World. Project-Mu are a specialist manufacturer with a focus to provide the best quality product for specific areas in the street and race performance brake arena.

From EOM street replacement pads and discs, to performance brake upgrade kits through to world class motorsport pads, all products are manufactured in the Project-Mu plant in Ibaraki, Japan.

Project-Mu has a rich history in Motorsport both in Japan and Australasia and now Europe. Project-Mu supply brakes to Japanese GT, Touring Car and Endurance Racing in Japan and many other racing categories. In July this year, a Toyota Supra HV-R Hybrid race car won the prestigious Tokachi 24-hour race in Japan using Project-Mu brakes without needing a brake pad change.

In Australia, Project-Mu pads are included on the V8 Supercar 'control brake list' due to their wide spread use when the market was 'un-controlled'. A large portion of field chooses the Project Mu option.

The recent 2008 Dubai 24-hour and 2007 Bathurst 12-hour races were also won using Project-Mu pads and in both cases the cars had the advantage of not having to stop for brakes at all. One of the leading factory teams in the World Touring Car Championship also use Project-Mu brake pads.

Project-Mu brakes are also supplied into Rallying, Historic Touring Cara with great success.

Racer Industries was founded in August 2005 by Ryan McLeod

Ryan's time spent working in the Australian and International motorsport arena had highlighted the need for a genuine specialist motorsport supplier in Australia.

Ryan realised that, to supply even a moderate motorsport operation, teams would have to deal with so many different small suppliers and would be continually frustrated by searching for those few "hard to find parts" in the face of inexperienced suppliers and hugely inflated prices.

Racer Industries has been established to curb those problems, by supplying a huge range of on-hand stock, sourced directly from the manufacturer and offered at realistic prices. In addition, Racer Industries offer genuine experienced advice and service as a result of their years of experience at all levels of motorsport.
